GunGame is a style of game play. The objective is to get a kill with every weapon in the game in order, starting out with the Greasegun and working your way up through submachine guns, rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, pistols, bazookas, grenades until you reach the final level: the knife. With every level you will have a gun and a knife. You can gain a level with a knife kill and your victim will lose a level. The only level that you don't gain from a knife kill is the grenade level. You have to get a kill with a grenade to level up.
Game play can be individual or as a team. In team play you level up as a team. When you kill someone, your kill gets added to your team's pool of kills. Once your team reaches the kill requirement (which is the individual kill requirement multiplied by the number of players on that team), your entire team levels up.
Level steals only net your team the individual kill requirement for that level. Also, the amount of points that you get when your team wins is based on how much time you spent on that team (percentage-based, using the time you spent on the winning team versus the time you spent on the losing team).
Here are some terms used by GunGame.
At All Cost game server is hosted by Nuclear Fallout hosting. It is a Linux 24 slot server running at 1000fps. We run a custom configured Gun Game along with a few plugins to make it a bit different.
AAC (At All Costs) is a close and friendly Day of Defeat 1.3 Clan. We are a laid back clan and make the best of the game and the players we play with.
At All Costs (AAC) is a 9 year old clan. It was originally a pub server created by Reaper and Fallen Angel who branched off of the KoL Clan KoO. In hopes of an older and more mature clan environment many of the older members of KoL decided that it would be best to just separate from the KoL and form the AAC. Mid 2009 Milburn brought back the name after a second attempt that year, forming <AAC>GUNGAME*GG* and later the <AAC>WARCRAFT3
In mid 2012 after MIilburn stepped down to spend more time with his family, there was an over whelming number of complaints in the forum concerning the new leadership direction and how the clan was run. At this point Milburn pulled the AAC clan name (AAC was formed to get away from this exact behavior).
In early 2013 Loon, Milburn and Maj. Jerk thought AAC should be reborn. A fresh start with a new server and forum.
We are mature clan, but we still have a lot of fun. We are always looking for new members that can make the whole clan experience even better.
We base our potential members on many levels. Not just skill but also personality, dedication, responsibility, and loyalty.
Remember, this is just a game. It is meant for fun.
